How to subscribe.

If you have not been added to the server list, you must request a subscription to the list.  To participate you must send an e-mail to:

    gic-news-request@themortons.org

In the subject line put the word  "subscribe"  (without the quotes).  Nothing is required in the message portion of the e-mail.  After a few minutes you should receive a confirmation message.  

Example
 To: gic-news-request@themortons.org
Subject:  subscribe&body=Click your send button

If you are successful you should receive an acknowledgement of your message back from the server within a few minutes.

If you are using a mail client such as Microsoft Outlook you can click here and the message will be generated for you on your default address.

 

How to send a message.
You only have to subscribe one time.  After that, sending a message to gic-news@themortons.org will cause your message to be automatically distributed to anyone else that has subscribed.  

Example

 

 

 To: gic-news@themortons.org
Subject:  Prayer request, announcement, or whatever

Then type the text of you message like you normally would.

 

If you are successful you should receive a copy of your message back from the server within a few minutes.

How to unsubscribe.
To unsubscribe from the mailinglist, simply send a message with the word "unsubscribe" in the Subject field.

Example To: gic-news-request@themortons.org
Subject:  unsubscribe
